El Teide, EA8/TF-001 - 3715m ASL - 28 16 22 N 16 38 32 W - SOTA Mapping Project - 10 SOTA points

The summit of El Teide, the active volcano and the highest point in the whole of Spain, was activated by Jimmy EA8/M0HGY/P and myself EA8/M1EYP/P on 6th April 2015. The logistics and preparation for this were detailed and complex. An article all about the expedtion was featured in the November 2015 edition of Practical Wireless magazine.
