On 13th March 2004, Jimmy and myself took a quick mid-afternoon stroll up to the summit and claim this year's activating point.  The path, while muddy in parts was not as wet as previous occasions; in any case it is only six minutes walk from car to trig!   We were too late for any summit-to-summits, although we did work Richard G3CWI on Creigiau Gleision GW/NW-028 as we earlier left home in the car.  We spent 20 minutes QRV, working 7 stations, all regulars.  I then packed up and returned, as I had a gig to get to in Oldham that evening.
