I activated this summit early evening on Sunday 12th June 2005.   

Eight years to the day since Marianne somehow produced a 9lb 14oz bouncing blob (Liam).  After a pleasant day of playing train sets and buying his two rabbits he wanted, I got on the road south just after 4pm.  Before Congleton, I worked three SOTA/contest stations.  I took the M6, M5 and A456, then the lanes to the parking area.  From here, a brisk 6 minute stroll to the trig point, followed by an unashamed handheld 11 minute 4 x 2m FM smash-and-grab activation.  Back to the car, and follow the signs for Bromsgrove.     

Thanks to the following stations, all worked on 2m FM with 4 watts:
