After Billinge Hill G/SP-017 on 13th June 2015, I drove across Lancashire to Horwich, just north of Bolton. I drove up past the Reebok Stadium, home of Bolton Wanderers and then up through the residential streets to Matchmoor Lane. I accessed the summit via the Arqiva service road for the transmitter station atop Winter Hill.
I walked up to the trig point and set up right beside it. Again, I enjoyed the flexibility of being able to alternate between 10m and 6m at will without retuning anything. 16 QSOs were made.
