From Chanctonbury Ring G/SE-009, we made our way to the next SOTA summit along this stretch of the South Downs. Again, speed was a major consideration, as we had ambitiously targeted five SOTA activations before a soundcheck in Eastbourne!
As such, we did reasonably well, both qualifying the activation in less than 20 minutes of operating time on the summit. The car park was barely two minutes' walk away from the summit on this one too, which was handy!
It was a gloriously hot and sunny day, and we made our way over to Cliffe Hill G/SE-014.
