As intended, we set off first for Heath Mynd G/WB-007, and finally completed the Shropshire Hills section of RHB, if not the entire WB region!  The road map indicated a very narrow lane coming east off the A488, bending round to touch the western flanks of Heath Mynd, before bending right around to rejoin the A488 further south.  Anne Bowker's website states that there is nowhere to park anywhere on this road, but we decided to see for ourselves.  As this lane meets the start of the PROW track (SO 329 938), there is a gate that needed to be opened and shut, and just beyond it a triangle of tracks at the junction between lane and track.  At this point a tractor pulled up behind us, so I took the opportunity to ask if it would be OK to leave the car on this triangle before walking up the hill.  This was fine, so off up the track (indicated as "Other route with public access" on the OS 1:25000 map) we walked.   We then turned right up another track to skirt around the north of Heath Mynd, and when this track reached its highest point, just as we hoped, a path sprang off in the direction of the summit.  No path to the summit appears on the map.  This path faded out almost completely further up, but by then we were within sight of the trig point, cairns and shelter, and the ascent was nothing like as steep as it appeared on the map.  Closer inspection revealed this map to be one of those with 5m contours!   We set up in the shelter, drank the pea & ham soup and worked 6 stations (using GX4BJC/P) to finally claim this point I had been 'missing'.

Having descended back down to the car, we abandoned our plan to move onto Y Golfa NW-061, and headed instead to Stingwern Hill MW-030.

Thanks to the following stations, all worked on 2m FM with 2.5 watts, except for G4JZF worked on 500 mW:
