High Vinnalls, G/WB-012 - 375m ASL - SO 478 724 - OS Explorer 203 - 1 SOTA point           

Talgarth Trip Day 4 - Thursday 4th August 2022

This was our travelling home day, but we had thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Talgarth and were in no wish to rush off.  After another wander around the village and bakery breakfast, I managed to persuade Maz and Liam to agree to a wander up High Vinnalls near Ludlow on the way home.

We parked in the Forestry Commission car park and followed the Vinnalls Loop trail up to the summit.

It was another hot sunny day, and sunhats, shades and suncream were the order of the day.  Four HF CW contacts were made before I grabbed a summit-to-summit with Phil GW4HQB/P on Cadair Berywn GW/NW-012.

We had a wander around Ludlow town centre before commencing the main part of the return journey home.
