At Brownhills Maths & Computing College, Stoke-on-Trent, I now teach the Foundation Amateur Radio course every Friday afternoon in timetabled lessons. Full details may be seen in a two-part article in Practical Wireless (PW) magazine, April and October 2009 editions.
Further photographs and details are on my SOTA page for The Cloud G/SP-015 (2009 part 1), while the following links take you to various media reports of the story. Here are some photographs of a demonstration of portable amateur radio given to a group of (then) Year 8 students at Brownhills High School, where I teach mathematics. The other member of staff pictured is Tom Doyle, a teacher of physics at the school. This was several years ago!
