This summit (formerly known as Yr Arwydd) was activated on Wednesday 2nd June 2004, by myself, accompanied by Jimmy and Liam.  From our campsite in Brynteg on Anglesey, we drove around 4 miles WNW before turning right (NE) and heading up through the winding ascending lanes through the hilly/rocky area.  On the left, a car park became visible, and here we parked (SH 470 852) before setting off up the short track to the summit.

The trig point had no cap in it, but was nearly filled to the top by small stones.   We figured it would be much quicker to use the guying kit, and erected the SOTA Beam on the grass adjacent to the trig.   We enjoyed good views over Lligwy Bay amd Red Wharf Bay as we undertook the first of the day's three activations in fine weather.  After qualifying the summit we returned to the car and headed across to Holyhead Mountain NW-069, and later to Yr Eifl NW-075.
