The second summit on Friday 30th August 2013 was Hegdon Hill G/WB-023. I
explained to Liam the driving route I wanted to take from
High Vinnalls G/WB-012, and he then
successfully directed me. There seemed to be plenty of space to park on a verge
opposite the field that contains the summit - but I had no recollection of being
able to park here in the past!

This is a very trivial walk - if you start from here! We crossed the road, went
through the gate, and walked about 25 yards to the trig point! A quick
activation on 12m brought in 2 CW contacts and four on SSB. I probably spent
more time enjoying the Heinz steak & potato Big Soup than I spent on the radio!
But then I don't particularly like Hegdon Hill and wasn't feeling inclined to
linger.

So I didn't, and we made our way towards Malvern for
Worcestershire Beacon G/WB-009.
