We descended Gyrn Moelfre GW/NW-049 and made the short drive to Mynydd-y-briw GW/NW-060, just a few miles away around narrow windy lanes. We parked in space by the entrance to the access road to the farm and transmitter site, as ascended the steep tarmac track. We set up right on the summit, marked by a tiny cairn. Contacts were harder to come by on this summit, although like last year, there was a very clear path through to the Cat & Fiddle where Steve G1INK/M was still sitting. After the first three contacts came very slowly, another three came quickly, and we shared around some Broccoli & Watercress soup. We descended and headed for our next objective - Allt y Main GW/NW-059.
