Monday 23rd October 2006. We zoomed down the M6 from Lambrigg Fell G/LD-046 and made for the village of Burton-in-Kendal. Beyond the village, we found our way to our favoured start point for this hill, the Plain Quarry car park. Liam remembered the route, so he was quick to set off on his own while Jimmy and myself prepared the rest of the gear to carry up.
The boys, particularly Liam, were ready for some soup at the summit, so this was passed around during the activation. Our summit stay lasted around 50 minutes before we set off down and drove to our third and final hill of the day, Arnside Knott G/LD-058.
