Tal y Fan, GW/NW-040 - 610m ASL - SH 729 727  - OS Explorer OL17 - 4 SOTA points           

There were signs of life on 15m on Wednesday 30th September 2015.  It was especially pleasing to work a good batch of the regular NA chasers from the later summit of Great Orme GW/NW-070, as it had been a while since my last NA DX from a summit.  A day out with Liam in North Wales last week. Two old favourites, commencing with a big American breakfast at the OK Diner on the A55!

It was my first proper outing since being out of action for four weeks with a very unpleasant and stubborn infection in my left leg - hence the gentle walk selected to ease me back into it!  The leg/foot came through the day fine, but I was absolutely exhausted - which I really shouldn't be after this pairing!  No wonder my GP advised me to "do some walks to start building the energy levels back up"!
