SOTA road trip, Day 3 - Monday 3rd August 2020

From Pen-crug-melyn GW/MW-036, it was another case of "follow and trust the satnav" through the windy narrow Welsh country lanes!  As it was indicated that I'd reached the waypoint, I looked for parking options, which were again very limited.  In the end I opted for a muddy verge at the side of the road a hundred yards or so back up the road from the gate and start of the track.

The zigzag track to the west of the summit was used for the approach, which proved to be a straightforward and reasonably quick and easy route.  The contacts were coming notably less quickly now on 17m CW, making me think we might be getting to the hour of the day when FT8 would become the optimal choice of operating mode.  After qualifying the summit, I descended and drove to the next one - Trichrug GW/SW-022.
