Saturday 7th March 2020 - Moel Gyw GW/NW-053, Foel Fenlli GW/NW-051, Moel Famau GW/NW-044, Penycloddiau GW/NW-054, Mynydd y Cwm GW/NW-076, Great Orme GW/NW-070, The Cloud G/SP-015 & Gun G/SP-013

I'd descended quickly from Moel Gyw GW/NW-053, and was parking up at Bwlch Penbarras before 9am.I decided to take the slightly wider approach to Foel Fenlli's summit by following the Offa's Dyke Path initially, before switching back to follow the medieval ramparts up and around to the summit.  Two 2m FM contacts came very quickly in the form of S2S QSOs with a pair of activators on Cyrn-y-Brain GW/NW-043.

Gary M0XGS was the C4FM saviour yet again with the only digital voice mode contact in the activation, while John G0MHF gave me the qualifying contact for the five SOTA points available (2 + 3 winter bonus).  I quickly dropped to the car, using the more direct path this time, where I rested for five minutes before tackling Moel Famau GW/NW-044.
